WeightWare Publisher Description

Using this window, WeightWare will help you create a personalized weight loss plan. You choose how much weight you want to lose, and how fast you want to lose it. WeightWare will help ensure that your goals are reasonable and achievable.*

At the top of this window your current Weight, Body Mass Index, and Weight Percentile are displayed.

Step 1 - Selecting Your Goal Weight
The first step is to choose a target weight. This can be your 'ideal' weight, or you can choose an interim weight goal instead. You may return to this window and revise your weight loss plan at any time you desire.

Using one of the three options provided, select a goal weight. As you modify your goal weight, the lower half of the Step 1 frame will show summary information about your goal weight.

Step 2 - Selecting Your Goal Date
The next step is to choose a date for your goal. Whichever option you choose, be careful to not set an impossible date. Most authorities on weight loss recommend losing 1 lb (0.5 kg) per week. This rate of weight loss has been found to be safe, and effective for long-term success. As you change the Goal Date options, the lower portion of the frame will show you a summary of what it will take to reach your goal.
